Relationships and dating is without a doubt an essential part of our life. We talk about them without pause. They stir us on an emotional level more than most things in life. We become more upset, cross , upbeat and uplifted through relationships.

Yet it's the largest 'inadequate' part of our lives. The area that we know little about. You can be a high-flying professional with stellar academic and career background and still be an absolute failure when it comes to dating and relationships. Despite our best efforts and investing more time in it from birth than any other area of our lives. We are as a population less knowledgeable about this part of our life than any other. The extent of the issue is weighty. Going by my experience, I can state that around 20% of the knowhow that people have about dating is real. That means that 20% of the knowhow they have is serviceable and useful. Only 20% can help them to make good decisions vs. bad decisions.

Why is 80% of the knowledge off-target?

1. Limited research of dating / relationships historically: Our scientists were focused on other subjects from medicine to telecoms and media.

2. No formal dating self-education: There was not any self help or formal education to turn to.. School offered you sex education at best, and that was mostly worthless. If you were leading a charmed life it helped you to not get someone pregnant. It came to a standstill there. The books in stores were just as confusing if you wanted to use them to educate yourself.

3. Inhibited communication of true relationship experiences: Do you tell your friends exactly what happens in your relationships? on your rendez vous? or is it a garbled statement of the truth. Envision it. Dare say. Everyone is doing it.

4. Popularized confusing/ false messages about relationships: Films and media all tell the same stories. We have grown to love these stories. Nevertheless none.. of this statement is correct. The world does not work that way. One kindred soul. Honest romance. Sadly it is not factual.

Take a look at any number of reliable survey statistics (hint: don't believe in the claims of an online dating service, find independent and objective surveys instead) on the divorce rate, satisfaction rate in relationships, satisfaction and success rates in dating etc. You will find them to be pretty negative in conjunction. Is it astonishing? NO.

The proof of the dating knowledge gap is staring you in the face.

The Good News: A revolution is coming. Today there is real valid research on dating and relationships coming out by the truck load. There are great books, based in science. There is dating coaching from dating coaches who are ACTUALLY successful (What a strange phenomenon!). There is dating advice for men that actually works. Specializing in how to succeed with women is legitimately becoming possible.

There is 'truth' out there to embrace. You have to look further than your friends, the places where you have traditionally gained knowledge from - places where you got your incorrect thoughts and accepted that it was unknown. Get keyed up. Search for the realities that are becoming more and more available in a maturing dating advice for men market. There are many who are going from complete disasters to fantastic results. To triumph. They are just keeping their guard up, being finnicky about the information they pick up - and looking for the actualities. They are discovering sound knowledge, absorbing it, using it and 'taking control of their relationship fate'.
